Tricon Dutchmen are designed using Special Treated Tri- Braze material for enhanced ductility in the most stringent structural applications. Although Special Treated Tri-Braze is less wear resistant than our standard Tri-Braze, it still has a significantly higher hardness than ASTM A514 grades of steel. By utilizing Tri-Braze, the standard by which all other impact and abrasion- resistant alloy steels are measured, you are assured that components will meet your most demanding requirements.
Tricon lips and shrouds are designed to protect the dipper lip from wear in harsh mining conditions. Made from Special Treated Tri-Braze for enhanced ductility and longer wear life
Designed with Special Treated Tri-Braze material, Tricon Dutchmen have enhanced ductility for more stringent aggregate structural applications. Although our standard Tri-Braze is more wear resistant, Special Treated Tri-Braze still has a significantly higher hardness than ASTM A514 grades of steel. By utilizing Tricon Dutchmen, you can be assured that the ductility and wear resistance will meet your most demanding requirements.
Special Treated Tri-Braze is used on out lips and shrouds to enhance ductility while maintaining hardness and wear resistance far in excess of A-514 structural lips. Maximize productivity while protecting against unnecessary wear with Tricon lips and shrouds.
