Tricon feed chutes and liners are lined with Tri-Braze, the industry’s best- performing and largest-selling, specialty abrasion-resistant steel. Our feed chutes and liners stand up to the wear and tear of thousands of bark tons moving through the system.
PANTS LEGS
Chipper head chutes made from Tri-Braze are long-lasting and can stand up to the abrasive wood handling process. Tri-Braze leads the industry due to its remarkable combination of strength, through hardness, wear resistance, and weldability which outlasts typical AR plates by 3 to 4 times.
HOPPERS
Hoppers and chutes are subject to heavy impact from falling loads in addition to compression and abrasion in transition points and hopper exits. By analyzing the wear patterns and loads in each area, Tricon can customize a Tri-Braze and Super-C liner package to maximize the life of your hoppers.
